The God Makers 2, part 1

I have several videos coming up in the next few days of The God Makers. Please come back to watch the rest of the series in the next few days.

I hope Christmas was not a "let down" for you. Remember that we celebrate the birth of Christ and that the only "let down" is when we fail to please HIM!

Thank you, my Christmas was definitely blessed. My grandson (3 yr old)was so excited but more importantly, he realized that we were celebrating the birth of Jesus! He is quite the "Papa's" boy! My goal is for him to become quite the child of God!! I hope your Christmas was well, I'll bet you are getting excited about your upcoming mission trip!

I watched this one and the second one and was impressed to see the author of Mormonism, Momma and Me in the video. She is very well read in the doctrinal stances of the LDS establishment and the book is a great factual read on the subject. Brian, if you have not picked up that book, I would highly recommend it as it is a well put together book.

When I got out of mormonism, I bought almost every book I could find on the subject. This was one of the books I picked up. You are right, it is a very good read! It helped me out tremendously!

Glad to hear you had a great Christmas. I put up a video of my 2nd graders. We had a Christmas performance and out of 7 presentations, only 2 of them were about the birth of Jesus (and one was mine).

So sad.

good video Stella,
Hope those kids will learn about Jesus and the next time they sing Joy to the World, they will truly know what that Joy is!

I explained it to them..and actually, I shared the Gospel in a "deep" way with my 5 year olds. I was telling them in a way that my english as a foreign language 5 year olds would understand. They kept asking all these questions, I just gave it to them like they were adults. At least, now they understand why they are not allowed to say, "Oh, my G-d," in my class. (and btw, those cat pictures are real).

I talk to my 3 yr old grandson in a way he can understand. He understands what pain is, so I tell him how much pain Jesus went through on the cross. I showed him where they nailed Him to the cross. I told him that when someone dies, they are buried and that Jesus was buried too. But the good news is that Jesus is alive now and went up to heaven to prepare a place for us to live in (much like we have a house with a bed, blankets to keep us warm, etc) and that the new place will be so wonderful because we will be with Jesus. I told him how important it is that we do not sin. He knows what lying is and to take something that is not his is stealing. It is amazing what a little child can and does understand! I could have used one of those cats the last time our power went out during a storm!!
