Mark Cahill - One Thing You Can't Do In Heaven (FULL)

Good friend and evangelist -- Mark Cahill preaching a powerful message of One Thing You Can't Do In Heaven.

What will it take for you to get out and reach the lost for Christ? The shooting that took place at the Sandy School should open our eyes.  No one knows when they will take their last breath on this earth.  I shudder when I think of how little I am doing for Christ.  I do many things for myself and for my wife and for my kids but in comparison to what I do for Christ, it is embarassing.  Not only is it embarassing, it is pathetic.  Many people look at me and say "that man is a man of God," and yet, I am ashamed at how much I actually do for the Lord.  My failure in the past is no excuse for my future failures.  It starts right now!  When I finish this post, I am going to prepare myself to reach the lost daily in my life.  Never again will I desire to slack off on my witnessing to the lost.  Get out into the streets and fulfill the Great Commission!

The Failure of the American Church

As we enter the End Times it is important to remember what God's Word tells us about it.
King James Bible and the End Times
Luke 18:8 and Romans 10:17, “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? ... So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Jesus plainly stated that there WOULDN'T be much faith in the Last Days. The Bible teaches that "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17). It is impossible for faith to come to a person who has not heard the Word of God. This is why the Bible is so critically important, and why we as believers must defend and preach the Word to lost sinners. Satan is a beautiful liar, and one of his biggest deceits is false Bibles. The following chart shows the source of our beloved faithful King James Bible versus the heathen source of all modern corrupt Bibles . . .
It is easy to realize why there won't be much faith when the Lord Jesus returns at the Rapture, when one considers that MOST of the Bibles in people's homes today are fraudulent imposters. Most people don't have God's Word these days; but rather, a corrupt perversion of the Scriptures which attack the deity of Christ, removes the word “Godhead” completely, teaches the Lordship Salvation heresy in Romans 10:9, changes the word “worship” concerning our Lord Jesus to a mere “knelt,” perverts Philippians 2:6 to say that Jesus is not equal with God the Father, removes the word “sodomite” completely, removes the word “begotten” from John 3:16, perverts 1st John 5:7, and thousands of other corruptions to the Words of God.
America has been the citadel of Christianity for the past 100-years to the world. God gave us His inspired, inerrant, infallible, impeccable, preserved Words in the English-language in our beloved King James Bible. 2nd Timothy 4:3, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears." It is these same people who will "not endure sound doctrine" who also will not endure a sound Bible. The King James Bible is offensive to the apostate churchgoer. Most people today have churchianity without Christianity. As the Church becomes more worldly, so does the world become more churchy. Many people are coming to religion nowadays, because they've rejected the King James Bible, accepting a watered-down perversion instead that reads like a comic book.
In the End Times, there is little faith because the Word of God has been corrupted. Most people these days have become intolerant of genuine, Biblical hell-fire preaching. They want to hear about God's love, how to better their relationships and how to become financially prosperous; but they don't want to hear about sin, judgment or dying to self. You must have both. You can't properly love God if you don't hate sin. People don't want to hear about carrying a cross as Jesus said in Matthew 16:24, "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." If you genuinely live for Christ, you will be despised, rejected and crucified by the heathen world. 2nd Timothy 3:12, "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."
In these End Times, let us uplift and promote the trustworthy King James Bible—the Bible that still says it like it is, the Bible that still proclaims the deity of Jesus, the Bible that still uses the word “Godhead” (Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20; Colossians 2:9), the Bible that still calls homosexuals “sodomites,” the Bible that isn't copyrighted, the Bible that uplifts the Person and redemptive work of Jesus Christ—the King James Bible.

The Sin 0f Facebook -- revisited!

 The Sin of Facebook!

The above link is to a post I did a while back.  I wanted to update it somewhat now.  The more I see people on Facebook, the more I am appalled at so called Christians.  In the past week I have seen so called Christians wearing next to nothing in string bikini's, using language such as the "n" word and even worse than that, they have used the GD word (the only difference is they took out the "D" from God and replaced it with a "T").

So many people are deceived into thinking they are saved.  They post on facebook for the whole world to see that they truly do not believe or even fear the Lord our God.

How about you?  Would you be ashamed if your pastor saw some of the things you post on facebook?  Would you be ashamed if you knew that Jesus does see everything you post?  Because He does see it all.  He knows your heart and the intent of your heart.  If it does not glorify God then you need to check yourself at the door.  Are you truly saved?  or do you just want the world to "think" you are saved to satisfy your own hunger to be like them in word and deed?

We are living in the End Times right now and so many self professing Christians feel like it is okay to be just like the world.  They truly do not believe in God.  They profess that they do but their actions prove otherwise!

Rock Church -- home of who knows what!

The above picture is posted on the facebook site of "pastor" Chuck Tate.  I use the term "pastor" loosely as you will see soon enough.  The supposed pastor is the one on the right in the picture.  This is all a part of the entertainment value that he places in the pulpit of his church.  I do want to emphasize that it is "his" church and not God's church.  God did not need entertainment in order for people to listen to him.    This church is a rock and roll church filled with tattoo wearing people who do not know God's Word.  They have been misled by a pastor, a prophet, a lost soul who distorts God's Word to mean what he wants it to mean.

Facebook tells us a lot about a person and what he believes.  Check out some of this pastor's likes on his page.

He follows a man who was a vocalist for Full Devil Jacket who later started his own rock band (of which there is no mention of following Jesus Christ).
Another one is a group called Beer Goggle Prophet (you guessed it, they promote beer drinking)
How about promoting Liberty n Justice and their Cigar Chronicles?  (this one is filled with smoking, drinking and foul mouth language)
Mark Driscoll -- the foul mouth pastor!
The Purpose Driven Life -- by none other than the false teacher Rick Warren!

How about some of these movies and characters that this pastor emboldens?
School of Rock with Jack Black who has been on screen blaspheming Jesus by pretending to be Jesus as a gay man.
TV?
Ellen DeGeneres -- the lesbian talk show hostess
The Office -- with its anti God talk, blaspheming God, taking the Lord's name in vain, etc
And finally, how about his support of stand up comedy featuring George Carlin?  A man who blasphemed God from day one of his comedy routine up till the day he died.  The man who had such filthy language and had no problem whether little children heard it or not.  He mocked God every chance he had.

All of the above is given full support of a man who calls himself a pastor.  It is disgusting to see his support of these things.  Now, add to all of this the other entertainment he has on stage of his church.
Singing songs like "I've Got Friends In Low Places" and "I Can't Drive 55" and how about "Born To Be Wild" as an example.  Or how about having motorcycles riding IN THE CHURCH?

This man does not seem to know what God's Word says about church.
Let all things be done decently and in order.  1 Corinthians 14:40

Here is another person he supports.  Pastor Bob Daily on youtube.  This man's sermons are so far removed from being biblical.  His body is covered with tattoo's and he tells people that he uses his tattoos to witness to people.  He contorts his body in different positions to tell people his story.  What ever happened to just telling people what God's Word says?  No, what has happened is this.  People are looking for pastors to preach a word to them that will tickle their ears.  They do not want to know what God's Word says, they only want to know that God loves them.  No mention of God's Wrath or His Judgment.  Only Grace without Wrath.  God is 100% Love and He is 100% Wrath.

What ever happened to churches that used to preach only God's Word without fail?
Today's church is into entertainment. Why? Because they do not believe God's Word is able to bring lost people to Christ.  What is happening is they are creating false prophets and false converts.  As long as people continue to follow this kind of false teaching, they will end up in hell since they do not repent of their sins.  Without repentance, there is no salvation!

The pastor of Rock Church needs to check himself as to whether he is, in fact, saved.  Because he is misleading his flock in the wrong direction.  He has actually given a sermon where he mocks christians who say you should not mark your body.  It is disgusting to hear him preach his message. I say it is "his" message because it is not of God to mock christians.

Just a few more to show his lack of discernment.
Joel Osteen -- a false teacher who distorts God's Word by changing it to fit his sermons (messages).
Rick Warren -- the one who believes that christians and muslims need to get along with each other.

Our world is falling apart right before our eyes.  We have a muslim president in office and supposed christians have no clue as to the danger he presents to us.

You have two choices.  Either go to a bible believing church that faithfully preaches God's Word from the KJV Bible...
or
go to a church (a better word would be to go to a building pretending to be a church) that has a pastor who endorses VULGAR LANGUAGE, SMOKING, DRINKING, ADULTERY, BLASPHEMY, DISHONORING GOD IN ALL THINGS, PROMOTING FALSE PROPHETS AND THEIR TEACHINGS.
THE PASTOR OF THIS KIND OF CHURCH DOES NOT KNOW GOD -- YOU CAN BE SURE OF THAT!

After listening to another one of his sermons this pastor says that people like to hear things that "sound" true but in fact are not true.  He says that he does not do that.  He only preaches the truth according to him.  Then as you continue to listen to his sermon he says that God does not hate, He only loves.  He says don't be deceived by lies that sound like the truth.  And yet, his teachings are deceitful.  Now, back to the comment that he says God does not hate.  All one has to do is go to: Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Leviticus 20:23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
Proverbs 6:16-19 These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,  An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,  A false witness [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Hosea 9:15 All their wickedness [is] in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes [are] revolters.
Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Chuck Tate's sermon dealt with the fact that God does not hate and He is only love.  Mr. Tate is ignoring Scripture when he makes such a claim.  It is not the sin that God hates (even though he does hate sin), it is the sinner who commits the sin and does not repent of his sins.  God's Word says he HATES the sinner.

to all those who plan to comment using foul language, just realize that all you are doing is proving my point about a false preacher who is misleading his flock.  His sermon is "close" to being true, but being close is not enough.  It MUST be absolutely biblical.  He supports smoking, drinking, cussing and vulgar language and meditative trances by supporting groups like The Cigar Chronicles.  He puts on a good mask that looks like Christianity but his inner soul is lacking and supporting the ungodly way of living.

Find a church that believes in holiness.  We are to love the things that God loves.
Look again at smoking, drinking, cussing, vulgar language and meditative trances.  What does the bible say on these.  Here is one verse to consider out of many.

1 Corinthians 6:12 which says All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Being brought under the power of alcohol, drugs, smoking and of course, meditation are all bad for you.  The cussing is found in James where it speaks of our tongue and what comes out of the mouth shows what is in our heart.  Some people have a "need" to have a tattoo, they have come under the power of that thing they put on their skin.  One is not enough, they MUST keep getting more and more tattoos.  This verse in Corinthians is followed later on by this one...

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Glorify God in your body.  Glorify God!  Glorify Him!  All that you have comes from God. Even the very money that you spend to help a worker of the devil continue his trade, even it belongs to God and yet you would rather allow someone to continue selling cigarettes by supporting them, you would rather support a tattoo artist so he can put the works of the devil on the next customer.  The money belongs to God and I would be willing to say that those people who are caught up in their habits, do not give to God that which is His.  They maybe give a very small amount of money and feel they are tithing.  To tithe is to give at least 10% of your gross income.

What will it take for people to see that when pastor's feel they must entertain people in order to get them to come into the church, they are actually telling the world that they do not believe God's Word to be true and powerful (they may say they believe, but their very actions prove otherwise.).
Run from this kind of church.  Do not walk, do not look back but run from this place.  Find a bible believing, HOLY Church to attend.  You do not need to be entertained with stupid acts and tricks -- that is of the DEVIL.

Bible Teaching Gone Wrong...

Thus saith the Lord...
or does He?

TV Evangelist, Radio Ministry, Bible Study Leader, Sunday School Teacher and yes, even the Pastor can and even most often are guilty of misleading the people with faulty teachings that do not line up with the Word of God.  Take a look at the following example...

1.  rest                                  a.  work                           T.  play

2.  minute                             b.  hour                            R. second

3.  find                                 c.  lose                              9.  keep

By presenting the above example on the white board at school, I had kids create a whole theology based on these words and numbers and letters.  They were asked what all of the words had in common.  They said, "God?"  "Trinity?"  "A bible verse?"  "Try?"  It was amazing what the kids came up with.  Whenever they would suggest something, I would nod my head and write it on the board.

When sitting in church, how often do you have a pastor, a teacher or a leader of some kind ask the people what their "opinion" is of the scriptures being studied?  One person will say something like, "I think it means this..."  or "I feel that God is telling us this..." but all the while, they are never able to reference anything with other scriptures.

Kind of sounds like Joel Osteen, Mike Murdock, Rick Warren, Joseph Prince, TD Jakes, Creflo Dollar.  The list goes on and on.  Rock Church and all of those other churches that distort God's Word and deceive the people will be held accountable to God.  But the real issue is this...

Have you studied God's Word to the point where you can recognize a false teacher when you see him or her.  If it is her, then you already know it is a false teacher if she is a pastor or is leading a group of men in the bible.

Is this something you care to debate?

Are you a Christian Legalist?

Many people are quick to cry out -- YOU ARE A LEGALIST!

But the sad thing is this...
They do not know what the term legalist means.  They cry it out because they have heard other people say it and they try to act, and the key word here is they "act" like they have knowledge of God's Word.

The first one to cry out "legalist" was Satan himself when he was speaking to Eve.

Ye shall not surely die.  Genesis 3:4

Eve believed the lie and as a result of her believing Satan, sin entered into the world.   It is true, there are people who are legalist  in the purest sense of the word.  They make up laws and rules and then try to live by those rules in order to get to heaven.  For those people, they have no understanding of the grace of God and His Good News.  There are people that say "if you don't abide by the laws that 'I' say you should keep, then you will not go to heaven."  Again, to those people, they are a legalist and do not know God.

Here is where the problem comes into the picture.  Just because someone says the word "legalist" does not make it so.  Let me give you an example.

God's Word says "ye shall not commit adultery."  That is not "me" saying that, it is God's Holy Word.  Now, did His Word stop having any meaning just because we have the New Testament?  Of course not.

See what the Apostle Paul said about this...
"What then? shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? God forbid."

Many times what you will find is the person who yells out "legalist" the most is the very person who is sinning the most.  They love their sin.  They want to commit adultery with every man or woman they can find and they do not want anyone to tell them what God's Word says about it.  In fact, they will find other people who agree with them so they feel they have an army behind them to defend their sexual perversions.  One person in particular has a man she calls her uncle (he is not a blood relative) and she says he is her "spiritual father."  He has taught her so much.  He teaches her about God along with a rock and roll type of church.  He claims to be a prophet of God.  He has no understanding of God's Word (although he pretends he does) and he is leading impressionable young girls into hell with him.  He recently got divorced and has little teen girls as his "nieces" even though they are not related to him.  It is a sick and perverted person that has girls believing "his" lies.  They are gullible enough to believe him. Why? Because they love their sin and he would never ever tell them that it was wrong to live such a sinfilled lifestyle.  A person who will not tell you the TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD is someone who HATES YOU.  A person who distorts God's Word so you can live in sin is a person of the devil himself.

The Rock and Roll Church that I wrote about is one that believes it is okay for you to go out and mark your body up with tattoo's.  It is okay to use GOD'S MONEY to support someone doing the devil's work on the next customer that comes in.  The pastor is an entertainer that does skits to entertain the rock and roll people.  He will cry out "legalist" if you try to tell him that the bible says that church is to be done in an orderly fashion.  1 Corinthians 14:40 says, "Let all things be done decently and in order."  This refers to how church services are to be held.  Now, contrast that to a church that plays "Born to be Wild" on stage.  They also sing, "I've God Friends In Low Places."  Not exactly God honoring is it?

It is not legalistic to tell people what God's Word says.
It is not legalistic to tell people about God's Word.
It is not legalistic to tell people that the KJV Bible is God's Word.
It is not legalistic to tell people about the Words Jesus Christ himself spoke.
It is not legalistic to tell people that God's Word says that if we are not obedient to the Father, then the love of the Father is not in us.
It is not legalistic to tell people "thus saith the Lord."
It is not legalistic to tell people to repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

If all of the above dictates who a legalist is, then say hello to the Apostle Paul, to Timothy, to Peter, to John, to all of the disciples.  Say hello to me!  For I would rather follow in the footsteps of Jesus and his disciples who gave their lives for Him, than to follow a person who makes provisions to sin and who winks at sin like it is a right and a priviledge that they own.

Not everyone who claims to be a Christian (especially a prophet of God) is saved.  Not every pastor who leads a congregation is saved (especially if he allows God's people to sin by mocking other Christians who follow God's Word). Not every girl or boy is saved when they go out a purposefully put themselves in a situation where they will sin (ADULTERY is a big one for some people!)

Always remember that Jesus said, "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart."

I'm sorry, was I a legalist for telling you that God says we should not commit adultery?  That to even look at another person with lust is the same thing as adultery in God's eye's?  You will get no apology from me on this one!  But those people who cry "LEGALIST" will be sure to find fault with it.  They will say that it is not my place to tell people not to sin.

Let me remind them of this one thing...

Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.  Acts 5:29

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?   Romans 6:16

The first words Jesus spoke in his public ministry were -- REPENT...
John the  Baptist began by saying -- REPENT
and Peter in his famous speech at Pentecost was constantly reminding people the need to REPENT.

People who cry out LEGALIST do not want to hear the word repent.  They feel they have liberty to sin at will with no consequences whatsoever.  The bible tells us to judge those within the church.  Those crying LEGALIST will tell you that the bible is wrong and that it is a lie to judge those within the church.

Are you a Christian Legalist?
If you have man-made rules and feel you must abide by them to get to heaven, then the answer is YES, you are a legalist.
If you just share God's Word with people, all the while realizing that we are saved by faith alone and not of works, then you are saved.  But if you live in your sins and are following after false teachers and supposed prophets, then you most likely are not saved.

My prayer is that all will come to Christ.  REPENT! Before it's too late!

Lot and Sodom What a waste! Part 1 and 2

KJV vs NIV battle Part 2

The following is an article written by someone attacking the KJV Bible.  Read it and then find my comments below and YOU make the decision.
****************************************************
Why do some Christians believe in KJV Onlyism?

This post probably could have been a part of the “haters” series, but thankfully, advocates of KJV Onlyism are not attacking us as frequently as they used to. I remember the first time I was exposed to KJV Onlyism. I thought it was utterly ridiculous. I did not know anything about the Textus Receptus, or Erasmus, or King James VI. All I knew was the idea that we are required by God to use a Bible translation from 17th century England is ludicrous. As I am now much more familiar with the arguments, I am still absolutely convinced that KJV Onlyism is terribly misguided and horribly destructive to the Body of Christ.

What is the true origin of KJV Onlyism? My informed speculation is that it is due to a resistance to change. In the 20th century, when English translations of the Bible other than the KJV started becoming popular, those who were used to the KJV did not want to change and relearn all the Bible verses they knew. But, they couldn’t just admit, “I’m an old fuddy-duddy and don’t want to change,” so they began developing arguments for the KJV and against all the new translations. These arguments have been improved upon, and have gained traction, and have been passed on to new generations of English-speaking Christians.

While they rarely admit it, advocates of KJV Onlyism essentially believe that God re-inspired the Bible in 1611 A.D. Ultimately, they have to go there because if they place their loyalty on the Textus Receptus (the Greek manuscript compilation used by the KJV translators), that would open the door to new translations being created. And, we can’t have that, so, God must have perfectly superintended the KJV translators into creating a perfect representation of His Word in English. Advocates of KJV Onlyism hate the NKJV, KJ21, and MKJV just as much as they hate the NIV, NASB, ESV, NLT, etc., etc. No, in order for KJV Onlyism to be true, God had to have re-inspired the Bible through the KJV translators.

Does that make any sense to you? It sure doesn’t make any sense to me. Now, the more scholarly KJV Onlyites will make arguments for the superiority of the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts behind the KJV. But, if you ask them if a new translation could be created from those manuscripts, watch out, I would advise body armor and ear muffs. Others will argue against the translation methodology of the new translations. But, with the more literal modern translations, like the NASB and the ESV, the translation methodology is not significantly different from what the KJV translators employed. Still others will attack the integrity, morals, and motivations of the modern translators. So, evidently, the group of 17th century British Anglicans behind the KJV were sinless, had perfect theology, and had absolutely no ulterior motives.

So, don’t be deceived by KJV Onlyism. God did not re-inspire the Bible in 1611 A.D. The King James Version is not the only Bible we can use. The new translations are not a part of a grand conspiracy to spread false doctrine. When the Bible was written, it was written in the common and current language of the people of that time. When the Bible is translated, it should be translated into the common and current language of the people. My first reaction to being exposed to KJV Onlyism was precisely correct. To force the English-speaking world to use an archaic and antiquated translation is ridiculous.

A Comparison Between the King James (KJV) &
The New International (NIV) Bibles
BlueBar
This is a scripture comparison of NIV and KJV passages, showing that the NIV was not properly translated. This is a sample of the many verses in the NIV that changes the Word that deals with the virgin birth of Christ, the deity of Christ, the infallibility of the Bible, salvation by faith, the Trinity, and many other areas of importance to the Christian Faith. Where the NIV doesn't altogether do away with a subject, such as the deity of Christ, it attempts to downgrade it. Many verses are completely eliminated. Verses have been changed in every book of the Bible in the NIV, and this is just a small sample of those verses. The NIV along with numerous other modern translations, is a product of Catholicism, endeavoring to corrupt the Bible of Fundamental Bible Believing Protestants, and to insert their own corrupt doctrines. Because of the many issues with the NIV we call it the NEARLY INSPIRED VERSION.
Christ's Diety banner
Matthew 6:13 KJV "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen." NIV "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." The NIV leaves out "For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory for ever. Amen." Everything pertaining to His Kingdom and Deity is left out."
Matthew 6:33 KJV "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." NIV "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." "The kingdom of God" is changed to "his kingdom."
Matthew 8:29 KJV "And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?" NIV "'What do you want with us, Son of God?' they shouted. '"Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?'" NIV leaves out "Jesus, thou", degrading the power of the verse concerning His deity.
Matthew 9:18 KJV ". . there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him. ." NIV "While he was saying this, a ruler came and knelt before him and said, 'My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.'" NIV changes "worshipped" to "knelt before." Men kneel before their own kings and queens, but they do not worship them.
Matthew 13:51 KJV "Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto Him, Yea, Lord." NIV "'Have you understood all these things?' Jesus asked. 'Yes,' they replied." NIV leaves out "Lord," again, leaving out His Lordship.
Matthew 16:20 KJV "Then charged He his disciples that they should tell no man that He was Jesus the Christ." NIV "Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ." NIV leaves out "Jesus," as it does in numerous verses.
Matthew 20:20 KJV "Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him. ." NIV "Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him." NIV again changes "worshipping" to "kneeling down."
Matthew 25:13 KJV "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." NIV "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour." NIV leaves out "wherein the Son of man cometh."
Mark 1:14 KJV "Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God." NIV "After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God." NIV says "the good news" and leaves out "the gospel of the kingdom of God."
Mark 5:6 KJV "But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him," NIV "When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him." NIV changes "worshipped" to "fell on his knees."
Mark 9:24 KJV "And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." NIV "Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, 'I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!'" NIV leaves out the reference to Jesus as "Lord."
Mark 11:10 KJV "Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest." NIV "'Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!' 'Hosanna in the highest!'" NIV changes his present kingdom to a future one saying "Blessed is the coming kingdom" and strips Jesus of His present Lordship.
Luke 4:8 KJV "And Jesus said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord they God, and him only shalt thou serve." NIV "Jesus answered, 'It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'" NIV leaves out "Get thee behind me Satan."
Luke 4:41 KJV "And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God ..." NIV "Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, 'You are the Son of God! ...'" NIV leaves out the reference to Jesus by the devils that He was "Christ."
Luke 7:31 KJV "And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?" NIV "To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like?" NIV leaves out "And the Lord said."
Luke 11:2 KJV "And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." NIV "He said to them, "When you pray, say: "'Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come." He isn't "Our Father" but just Father, and He isn't in Heaven, because that tells you something of who He is and points to Him as the Heavenly Father, so both references to heaven are removed. He must be here on earth. The reason for this is that the New Agers and Catholics believe in the "universal fatherhood" of God. My Father or Our Father becomes "The Father." This can be seen in some of the verses below: John 10:30,32; 14:28, etc. He is Father to all, and with it is the "Brotherhood of man." Then what happened to doing His will? Most people today want to do their own will, and justify it, and say that is the way it is supposed to be. But that is not the way it is supposed to be. We are to say "If the Lord will. . ." James 4:15 KJV "For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." Satan wants you to do his will, and not the Father's.
Luke 11:4 KJV "And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil." NIV "Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation. '" Even Satanists and Eastern Mysticists desire cleansing from sin, and Satan desires to masquerade as the sin forgiver and destroyer. Example: From the Complete Book of Magic and Witchcraft, part of a Satanic ritual states: "Grant that I may be cleansed by this water from all my sins." So Satan doesn't take this part out. Think about it: why don't they want you to be delivered from evil? This is all part of the conspiracy. First they deny the existence of Satan. They say that Satan is not a person, but merely a "power of evil." Then they assert that Lucifer and the Devil are separate and distinct entities. Satan tries to hide his real identity, and hide behind other names. New Agers say that Satan is a figment of Christians’ imaginations. They point out that Lucifer means 'day-star' or 'light giver' and say that Lucifer is the brightest of God's angels. Albert Pike said, "Lucifer is God." That's the next step in the deception: claiming that Lucifer is a good angel or even God or Christ Himself.
Luke 23:42 KJV "And he (the thief) said unto Jesus ‘Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.’" NIV "Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.'" NIV leaves out "Lord," doing away with His Deity.
John 10:30 KJV "I and my Father are one." NIV "I and the Father are one." Again, Satan is trying to do away with the Heavenly Father, and set himself on the throne. These are some more of the verses doing away with the Personal "My" or "Our" Father for an impersonal one, as well as changing "Our Lord" and "My Lord" to "the Lord" in referring to Jesus. John 10:32 KJV "Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?" NIV "but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" " John 14:28 KJV "Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you, If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." NIV "You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I." This is just a sample of many such verses. Galatians 1:3 KJV "Grace be to you, and peace, from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ," NIV "Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ," 2Thessalonians 1:2 KJV "Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father. . ." NIV "Grace and peace to you from God the Father. . ." 1Timothy 1:2 KJV "Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father. . ." NIV "To Timothy my true son in the faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father. . ."
Acts 2:30 KJV "Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;" NIV "But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne." NIV replaces "Christ" with "one of his descendants," which could be anybody.
Acts 8:37 KJV "And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." NIV leaves out the entire verse.
Romans 14:10 KJV ". .for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ." NIV "For we will all stand before God's judgment seat." NIV does away with Christ and His authority in judgment.
Romans 16:24 KJV "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." NIV leaves out the entire verse.
Galatians 6:17 KJV "From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus." NIV "Finally, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. " NIV leaves out "Lord." They don't mind calling Jesus Savior, but they don't want you to surrender your life to His Lordship. They want you to think that you can accept and receive Jesus as your Savior for "fire insurance," to keep you from hell, without receiving Him as your Lord.
Ephesians3: 9 KJV ". .which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ." NIV "and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things." NIV leaves out "by Jesus Christ" to undermine His Deity.
Ephesians 3:14 KJV "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." NIV "For this reason I kneel before the Father. . . " The NIV leaves out "of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Colossians 1:2 KJV "To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." NIV "To the holy and faithful brothers in Christ at Colosse: Grace and peace to you from God our Father." NIV leaves out "and the Lord Jesus Christ."
1 Timothy 2:7 KJV "Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity." NIV "And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle--I am telling the truth, I am not lying--and a teacher of the true faith to the Gentiles." NIV leaves out "in Christ."
1 Timothy 3:16 KJV "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." NIV "Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory." NIV reduces "God" to "He" and changes "manifest in the flesh" to "appeared in a body." That doesn't say the same thing. That is no different from the mount of transfiguration when Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus. They appeared like men, with bodies.
2 Timothy 4:22 KJV "The Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Grace be with you. Amen." NIV "The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you." NIV leaves out "Jesus Christ." So whom is the reference speaking of that is Lord? They don't want Jesus to get the honor and glory due Him, nor for you to serve Him as your Lord and Savior.
Hebrews 2:7 KJV "Thou made Him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst Him with glory and honour, and didst set Him over the works of thy hands." NIV "You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor" NIV leaves out "and didst set Him over the works of thy hands." Why do they continually leave out the most significant parts of these verses that show Jesus to be both Lord and Savior?
1 John 5:13 KJV "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." NIV "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." NIV leaves out the last 13 words of the verse (underlined) that speak of putting our faith in Christ..
Revelation 1:11 KJV "Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and What thou seest, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia..." NIV "which said: "Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches:..." NIV leaves out "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last." This is a reference to Christ, and who He is, as the eternal God, the only begotten of the Father, and the firstborn from the dead.
Revelation 5:14b KJV "... And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth for ever and ever." NIV "... and the elders fell down and worshipped." NIV leaves out "Him that liveth for ever and ever." Who were the elders worshipping? The lamb who was slain, the one who said in Revelation 2:8 "These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive."
These are examples from the many verses in the New Testament in which references to Christ as Lord, as God, as Creator, are watered down or entirely deleted. The translators of the NIV are against Christ. They are truly Anti-Christ. They do not want you to believe in Him nor put your faith in Him as your personal Lord and Savior, and they do not want you to serve Him and obey Him. If they can get you to believe in a historical Jesus, whom you do not put your faith in and trust in for forgiveness of your sins, and without bowing your life and heart to worship and serve Him as Lord, they will have succeeded in keeping you from Heaven and will help send you to Hell for all eternity! The following sections will further prove this point. Again, all sections are only a representation of the multitude of scriptures that have been changed by the translators of the NIV.
Salvation Banner
Matthew 9:13b KJV "for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." NIV "For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." NIV leaves out "to repentance." So what are they called to?
Matthew 18:11 KJV "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost." NIV leaves out the entire verse. This degrades His place as Savior, the purpose for which He came into the world.
Mark 2:17 KJV "When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." NIV "On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." NIV leaves out "to repentance" as in Matthew 9:13. Without this reference, what is the sinner called to?
Mark 10:24 KJV "Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!" NIV totally changes the meaning, saying "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!" The Catholic church amasses riches, and teaches that men have to be prayed out of purgatory to get into heaven, a primary means for the church to get money from it's believers. So they leave out "for them that trust in riches" and that allows them to use the verse to serve their own purposes.
Mark 15:28 KJV "And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors." NIV leaves out the entire verse.
Luke 9:55 KJV "But he turned and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of." NIV "But Jesus turned and rebuked them," NIV leaves out "Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of." (v.56) KJV "For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village." NIV "and they went to another village." NIV leaves out this entire underlined section referring to Jesus as the Son of Man and Savior. The change in the meaning of these two verses is unmistakable. They are not unintentional omissions, or accidents. Look at the two verses together: Luke 9:55-56 KJV "But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village." NIV "But Jesus turned and rebuked them, and they went to another village."
Luke 17:36 KJV "Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left." NIV leaves out the entire verse.
Romans 1:16 KJV "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. ..." NIV "I am not ashamed of the gospel," NIV leaves out "of Christ." So whose gospel is it? What is the gospel without Christ? And what power to save is there in a gospel without Christ?
Romans 8:1 KJV "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." NIV "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, " NIV leaves out "who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit" It changes the entire meaning of the verse and leaves no requirement or prerequisite to being free from condemnation. In truth, the verse tells us that if you do walk in the flesh, then there is condemnation. They have taken that out, so that you won't know the truth.
Romans 10:15b KJV "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things." NIV "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" NIV leaves out "that preach the gospel of peace." So what is the "good news" if it is not "the gospel of peace." The gospel of Jesus will bring peace to the one who puts their faith and trust in the finished works of Calvary, and submits to His Lordship, for he is "the Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).
Romans 11:6 KJV "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." NIV "And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace." NIV leaves out "But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." It's talking about the remnant according to the election of grace (v.5) and the difference between grace and works. In verse five, the NIV leaves out "election of grace." Catholicism believes in salvation by works and not by grace through faith; that was what started the reformation. This was Martin Luther's key revelation.
Romans 15:29 KJV "And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ." NIV "I know that when I come to you, I will come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ." NIV leaves out "of the gospel." The blessings we receive come only because of Calvary, and our faith in what Jesus accomplished for us on the Cross. The blessings of God only come to those who are obedient to "the gospel." All others are brought under God's judgment. 2 Thessalonians 1:8 (KJV) "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" Peter 4:17 (KJV) "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" What is Christ to us without the gospel; His death, burial and resurrection, that we might be redeemed from our sins? 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (KJV) "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
1 Corinthians 11:24 KJV "...Take eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: do this in remembrance of me." NIV "... 'This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.'" NIV leaves out "take eat" and "broken". This is the core of communion and its meaning is changed by the NIV. Catholic's don't "break" the bread (representative of the body of the Lord Jesus), but eat what they say is the very body, soul, and blood of Christ transformed into their wafer.
Galations 3: 17 KJV "And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect." NIV "What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise." NIV leaves out "in Christ." There is no Covenant without Christ. The New Testament or New Covenant is based on the shed blood of Jesus.
Galatians 4:7 KJV "Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." NIV "So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir." NIV leaves out the most significant and important part, "through Christ." We have no other means of salvation. Acts 4:12 (KJV) "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." This passage tells us (v.10) that His Name is "Jesus Christ of Nazareth." There is salvation through or by no other name, but they leave out that part, and teach the brotherhood of all men and the Fatherhood of God, such that all men are "sons of God," which is not true.
Galatians 6:15 KJV "For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature." NIV "Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation." NIV leaves out "For in Christ Jesus." Again, Christ is what makes the difference. They keep leaving Him out.
Ephesians 5:30 KJV "For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones." NIV "for we are members of his body." NIV leaves out "of His flesh, and of His bones."
Colossians1: 14 KJV "In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins." NIV "in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." NIV leaves out "through His blood." So, what is the source or means of our redemption? Where is the blood? Does not Hebrews 9:22 say, "without shedding of blood is no remission" (forgiveness); that verse is in the NIV. Catholic's do away with the finished works of Calvary, and crucify Him afresh, again and again. That's what the Mass is all about. They keep Jesus on the Cross; they serve a dead Jesus, not a risen Savior.
Colossians 2: 11 KJV "In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ." NIV "In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ," NIV leaves out "of the sins," which changes the whole meaning. Salvation involves a repentance of sin, and turning from past sins, to walk in the newness of life of the Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 6:4-6 (KJV) "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." Romans 6:10-12 (KJV) "For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof." You can't keep walking in sin and the old sinful nature, and walk in the life of Christ. Either you live and walk in the flesh or in the Spirit, but not both. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Romans 6:22-23 (KJV) "But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." There is much on this subject. There is simply no salvation without a repentance of and turning from sin and a life of sin.
Colossians 3: 6 KJV "For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience." NIV "Because of these, the wrath of God is coming." NIV leaves out "on the children of disobedience." Catholic's are telling the world, don't look at my sins, it's none of your business; wrongly applying scripture to cover their sins; as, "judge not, least ye be judged," and "love covers a multitude of sins." The way that love covers sin is through the blood of Christ by the gospel of His death, burial and resurrection. James 5:20 (KJV) "Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." This is so the wickedness of their priests can be covered and passed over as is they do not exist. Because people are coming out of the closet and telling the truth and suing the Catholic Church, they are for the first time being forced to face up to the facts that many of their priests are and have been fornicators and child molesters, even though they are supposed to be holy men who live a life of abstinence from sexual relations. Until recently, a priest charged with such misconduct, was simply moved to a new parish, where he continued his ways of sin. There are numerous books written by priests, who have come to Christ and are telling the truth about what goes on in the Catholic Church; and about the confessions of other priests and much higher officials in the Catholic Church that they themselves heard.
Hebrews 1:3 KJV "Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high." NIV "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven." NIV leaves out "by Himself." So we wouldn't know how he purged our sins. He "who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree" (1 Peter 2: 24). Catholic's don't want us to know that our salvation totally and completely depends upon Jesus, and His shed blood.
1 Peter 4: 1 KJV "Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;" NIV "Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin." NIV leaves out "for us," the reason why Christ suffered and went to the Cross. This verse in the NIV makes it as if Christ suffered for His own sins, and we know that He was without sin.
James 5:16 KJV "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed." NIV "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." NIV changes "faults" to "sins" because the Catholic's believe in confessions to priests, instead of to God; God alone has power to forgive sins.
1 John 4:3 KJV "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is the spirit of antichrist.." NIV "but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." NIV leaves out "Christ is come in the flesh." This very translation makes those translators guilty of being of the spirit of antichrist. What this verse and passage are really referring to, is the one who confesses that Jesus Christ is come into their lives, and is living in them, and they are one with Him. That means they confess Him as their personal Lord. 1 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV) "But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." You are one in spirit with Him. John 14:23 (KJV) "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV) "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." 2 Corinthians 6:16 (KJV) "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."
Revelation 14:5 KJV "And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God." NIV "No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless." NIV leaves out "before the throne of God." It is of no value to be blameless before man and not before God.

Mark 16:9-20 KJV "Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. 10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. 11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not. 12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. 13 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them. 14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen." Mark 16:9 NIV "The most reliable early manuscripts and other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20. When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons." It is not necessary to copy the rest of the verses of Mark 16 from the NIV Bible, for they have already told us that they don't believe it is part of the Holy Writ. Who are these ancient witnesses referred too? Of what reliable manuscripts are they speaking that leave out this section of Scripture, versus the unreliable ones that contain it? An attack and accusation without any proof or source to back up their claim. WHY? Catholic's today have a new doctrine, that of the bodily assumption of Mary. She has taken the place of Christ, she is without original sin, she is their mediatrix whom they pray to for mercy, and they believe she was bodily (without death) ascended into glory. Mary is also called the "Mother of God" and many other exalting titles. The Catholic Church began praying to Mary about 600 AD; as well as other dead "saints." The Catholic Church tells their people that Jesus is a judge that is harsh and judgmental, and that without Mary's intercession on their behalf, no one would receive any mercy from Him, and no one is allowed to plead their own case before Him. Mary is the one who stands as mediatrix between man and Jesus, begging her son to forgive and have pity on those Roman Catholics who pray to her. She is seen as co-savior and co-redeemer; in fact she is promoted above Christ.

Matthew 25:13 KJV "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." NIV "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour." NIV leaves out "wherein the Son of man cometh," changing the whole meaning of the verse.

Matthew 27: 35 KJV "And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots." NIV "When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots." NIV leaves out "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots." They are undermining the fulfilled prophecy of the Old Testament, which supports the validity of it being from God. Many today do not accept or use the O.T. in their study of the Word of God. They say we are not under the O.T., and they only read the Psalms and Proverbs out of the Old Testament.
Mark 13:14 KJV "But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:" NIV "When you see 'the abomination that causes desolation' standing where it does not belong--let the reader understand--then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." NIV leaves out "spoken of by Daniel the prophet." The NIV takes out the references to the New Testament fulfillments of Old Testament prophecy.
Mark 15:28 KJV "And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors." NIV leaves out the entire verse.
Luke 4:4 KJV "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." NIV "Jesus answered, 'It is written: "Man does not live on bread alone."'" NIV leaves out "but by every word of God." So then, what is man supposed to live by other than bread? It doesn't tell you. Maybe they want us to guess what it is? Would God make such an omission, such an obvious blunder in this verse?
Luke 9:54 KJV "And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?" NIV "When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, 'Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?'" NIV leaves out the reference "even as Elijah did."
Galations 3: 1 KJV "O Foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?" NIV "You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified." NIV leaves out "that ye should not obey the truth." That's the central point of the verse, without which the meaning is lost. How were they bewitched? What was the result and purpose of the enemy in this thing?
Virgin Birth banner
Luke 2:33 KJV "And Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were spoken of him." NIV "The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him. " NIV changes "Joseph and his mother" to "the child's father and mother" making Jesus the son of Joseph and just a man. This also attacks His Deity. Joseph was not the father of Jesus. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Ghost. The NIV’s statement is heresy. The Catholics believe in the Virgin Birth of Christ, but they want to destroy the faith of the Protestants and get them to accept Catholics as "brothers in Christ," which they are not.
Luke 2:43 KJV "And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it." NIV "After the Feast was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it." NIV changes "Joseph and his mother" to "his parents." What scriptures the Catholics have not corrupted to promote their doctrines, they have changed to destroy the foundation of the Christian (Protestant) faith, and its fundamental doctrines. "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11: 3).
Suffering of Christ banner
Matthew 20: 22 KJV "But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able." NIV "'You don't know what you are asking,' Jesus said to them. 'Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?' 'We can," they answered.'" NIV leaves out "and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?". This is not a reference to water Baptism but the Baptism of suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ of which believers partake. [From the KJV]: 1Thessalonians 3: 4 "For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know."; 2Thessalonians.1: 5 "Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:"; 1Timothy 3:12 "Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well."; James 5:10 "Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience."; 1Peter 2:20 "For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God."; 1Peter 3:14, 17 "But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;" "For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing."; 1Peter 4: 16, 19 "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf." "Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator."
Prayer banner
God's formula for prayer, as revealed by the Lord Jesus Christ, is that we pray to the Father, in His (Jesus’) Name . The New Age Catholic Ecumenical Versions of the Bible teach prayer directly to the Son or to the Father, but not in the 'Name' of Jesus. This section will deal with this, as well as other problems concerning prayer in the NIV and other New Versions; such as leaving out "fervent prayer" and "fasting."
Matthew 23:14 KJV "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation." NIV leaves out the entire verse. Catholicism recites prayers (as the rosary) repetitively for long periods of time, and robs widows by asking money to pray them out of purgatory.
Mark 9:29 KJV "And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting." NIV "He replied, "This kind can come out only by prayer." "
Mark 11:26 KJV "But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." NIV leaves out the entire verse. This is a scriptural principle; whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. We have to be willing to forgive others, even as we are forgiven (Ephesians 4:32). If we don't obey the gospel and forgive others as we are commanded, then how can confessing ones sins to a priest (who is supposed to bring absolution) be of any help or value? Is a priest greater than God is? Is he allowed to do that which is contrary to the Word, and contrary to the way God deals with mankind?
Mark 13:33 KJV "Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is." NIV "Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come." NIV leaves out "pray". That is how we watch and stay ready. Remember Jesus in the Garden? Matthew 26:41 (KJV) "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Without reference to prayer, this verse becomes meaningless.
Matthew 17: 21 KJV "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." NIV "see footnote of verse 17:20" This verse is completely omitted in the NIV. A footnote is given rejecting this verse.
Luke 11:2 KJV ".. When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." NIV "He said to them, "When you pray, say: "'Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come." NIV leaves out half the verse and entirely destroys its meaning. The reference to the Father being in Heaven, instead of on the earth, and to doing His will, is deleted. Why? Because the Catholics have replaced Him with the Pope, who is called their "Holy Father." He has taken the place of Christ (calling himself the "Vicar of Christ" and he has also taken the place of our Heavenly Father.
Luke 11:4 KJV "And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil." NIV "Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.'" NIV leaves out "but deliver us from evil." Why don't they want you to be delivered from evil?
John 14:14 KJV "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." NIV "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." That is ridiculous, because you would be praying to Jesus, in Jesus' Name. That is not what is intended, as we can verify by comparing this with other verses.
John 16:23 KJV "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you." The NIV totally changes the meaning: NIV "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name." You’re not asking the Father in Jesus Name, but the Father is giving to you in Jesus Name, what you ask of Him. Yet you see a contradiction between this verse and John 14:14 above. Here the NIV admits, "you will no longer ask me anything", telling us that we ask the Father; yet in John 14:14 it told us to "ask Me for anything in my Name" by directly praying to Jesus.
Acts 10:30 KJV "And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing," NIV "Cornelius answered: "Four days ago I was in my house praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in shining clothing stood before me" The reference to Cornelius' fasting is left out. Yet it is an important part of the story. Leaving it out changes it significantly. God has asked us to seek Him with prayer and fasting! It is a way in which we show God that we are serious and we are thereby diligently seeking Him with all our heart, to the point of foregoing food. Job 23:12 KJV "Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food." Jesus fasted often. Many men of God fasted, in seeking the Will of the Father, and His Presence, or answers to great needs, or for their lives to be spared. The NIV changes the meaning of this verse in Job (not being partial to changing New Testament scripture only). Job 23:12 NIV "I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread." It says it was more important, but not necessarily that he was doing without his daily bread.
1Corinthians 7:5 KJV "Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency." NIV "Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control." Why don't they want you to fast as a part of your Christian walk with God? They know it is a means of spiritual growth and strength.
2Corinthians 6:5 KJV "In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;" NIV "in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; " Where is 'watching' which is a reference to prayer, and fasting? Again we see it in 2Corinthians 11:27 KJV "In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness." NIV "I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked."
Trinity banner
1 John 5:7 KJV "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." NIV "For there are three that testify:" NIV leaves out the last 15 words of the verse, and skips to v.8, leaving out the first part of it also, and mentioning the three witnesses on earth without saying where these witnesses are, and mentioning none in heaven. This is an attack on the Trinity, a key doctrine for the true Christian. Most cultic religions reject this doctrine. 1 John 5:8 KJV "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one." NIV "the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." When you put the two verses together the totality of the NIV is: 1John 5:7 - 1John 5:8 "For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." That is not similar in meaning in any way to the original. All the underlined parts above are left out. This is an abomination.
Miscellaneous banner
Matthew 5: 44 KJV "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." NIV "But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." NIV leaves out most of the verse: "bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you." Catholics believe in killing, and in destroying all those who don't believe in their doctrines. Look at the history of the Catholic inquisitions, and their religious wars. You don't have to go back as far as the Catholic Crusades (done in the name of the Pope and Christianity) or as far back as the 11th century to see the killings done in the name of the Church. The Catholics murdered Jews and tried to destroy them and take over Jerusalem for themselves. During the middle ages, they put to death and burned at the stake as heretics, men who tried to bring the Word of God to the people in their own language: men such as John Huss, William Tyndale, John Hooper, John Wycliff, Dr. Nicolas Ridley, Dr. Roland Taylor, Hugh Latimer, and many others. They would have certainly killed Dr. Martin Luther if they could have. During the mid 20th century the Catholics held inquisitions and persecuted many people during World War II in Poland, Yugoslavia, and other countries. The Catholic Church backed and had concordats with Hitler, and Mussolini, and was the mother of both the Communist Party and the Nazi Party. The Jesuit priests were the power and guidance behind it all. A Jesuit priest named Staempfle wrote "Mein Kampf" for Hitler, and the Jesuits worked closely with Marx, Engels, Trotsky, Lenin and Stalin, and supported them. The Catholic Church helped bankroll the revolution that put Russia in the hands of the Communists. The Catholic Church was behind the murders of the more than 6 million Jews by the Nazi's; a repeat performance of their prior efforts to destroy all Jews from the face of the earth.
Matthew 17: 21 KJV "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." NIV leaves out the entire verse. The verse is in the middle of a teaching on deliverance from demon possession.
Matthew 19: 9 KJV "And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery, and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery." NIV "I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery." NIV changes the meaning entirely by changing the word "fornication" to "marital unfaithfulness." Marital unfaithfulness does not have the same meaning as fornication. The NIV also leaves out the second part of the verse: "and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery." This verse is crucial to our living an undefiled life. Most people in the church fall into sexual sins, and this is what will take them to hell. Sexual sins are one of the biggest problems in the church today. Divorce and remarriage is now as prevalent inside the church as it is outside the church. This was not the case from the time of Christ until approximately the last 20 years. The same holds true for immorality and fornication. Fornication is sexual relations before marriage, and marital unfaithfulness (adultery) is illicit sexual relationships after marriage.
Matthew 20: 16 KJV "So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen." NIV "So the last will be first, and the first will be last." NIV leaves out "for many be called, but few chosen." This has to do with our salvation. Many are called to salvation; the ones chosen are those who answer the call and obey the gospel.
Matthew 28: 9 KJV "And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him." NIV "Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshipped him." NIV leaves out "And as they went to tell his disciples." Matthew had just told of what happened at the sepulcher, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were spoken to by an angel, and told that Jesus was risen, and to go tell His disciples. Then, as they went to tell the disciples, Jesus appeared to them. Why would their obedience to the command of the angel be left out?
Mark 7:8 KJV "For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do." NIV "You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men." NIV leaves out the example of how they held to the traditions of men rather than the Word of God. Catholics today hold fast to their traditions.
Mark 7:16 KJV "If any man have ears to hear, let him hear." NIV leaves out the entire verse. Jesus had been talking about those who lived by their traditions, which they exalted above the Word of God, making the Word of no effect or value in their lives.
Mark 9:44 and 46 KJV "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." This is a reference to hell. NIV leaves out both entire verses.
Mark 9:49 KJV "For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt." NIV "Everyone will be salted with fire." NIV leaves out "and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt." This verse refers to spiritual refining. All of us have to go through the fire. 1 Peter 1:7 (KJV) "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:" 1 Peter 4:12 (KJV) "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:" Malachi 3:1-3 (KJV) "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. 2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: 3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness."
Mark 10:21 KJV "Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me." NIV "Jesus looked at him and loved him. 'One thing you lack,' he said. 'Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.'" NIV leaves out "take up the cross," Taking up the cross is taking the will of God, and denying your own will. The Catholic Church only recognizes the will of the Pope. Your cross is where your will and the will of God come into conflict, and you must lay aside your will, and die to it, to take up and do the will of God. That's Luke 9:23 (KJV) "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." The example of this is Jesus in the Garden, when He had to lay aside His will to do that of the Father. Matthew 26:39 (KJV) "And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." You cannot be a Christian without doing the will of God for your life. 1 John 2:17 (KJV) "And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." 1 Peter 4:1-2 (KJV) "Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God." There are many verses on this subject.
Mark 12:30 KJV "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment." NIV "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'" NIV leaves out "this is the first commandment." A Catholic's first love and loyalty is to his church and his Pope.
Philippians 3: 16 KJV "Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing." NIV "Only let us live up to what we have already attained." NIV leaves out the last two phrases. They are an important part of the teaching of this portion of scripture.
1 Timothy 4:12 KJV ". .Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." NIV "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." NIV leaves out "in spirit." Charity and love are the same word from the Greek.
1 Timothy 6: 5 KJV "Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself." NIV "and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain." NIV leaves out "from such withdraw thyself," which has to do with our separation from such people. The Catholic Church is responsible for the Ecumenical movement (a word they coined), which to them means "a return to Roman Catholicism." They do not believe in separation from the world. The Catholic Church compromises with all the other heathen ways, wherever they have gone. The Catholic Church has mixed with voodoo, with Santaria, and many other forms of spiritism, witchcraft and idol worship. You can be a Catholic and practice any form of idolatry, or witchcraft. You can be anything from a witch doctor practicing voodoo, or a fortuneteller, palm reader, necromancer, tarot card reader, crystal ball reader, etc. Most all such today are Catholics, such as Jeanne Dixon. They practice all manner of witchcraft that God calls an abomination.
Hebrews 10:34 KJV "For ye had compassion on me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance." NIV "You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions." NIV leaves out "in heaven," making the verse read as earthly possessions and destroying the meaning. The Catholic Church is the richest entity on the face of the earth, holding billions in property, stock, gold and cash.
1 Peter 4: 14 KJV "If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified." NIV "If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you." NIV leaves out the last 15 words, changing the meaning of the passage.
2 Peter 2:17 KJV "These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever." NIV "These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them." NIV leaves out "for ever." Catholic's are taught to believe that when they die, they go to purgatory; instead of heaven or hell. They further believe that they can escape from purgatory by the prayers of priests. Their surviving relatives buy them out of purgatory, by paying for the priests to pray them out. It's one of the greatest sources of money of the Catholic Church: poor Catholics who have been lied too, giving what little they have but can't afford, in a false hope of making life easier for one who has died. There is nothing you can do to help or hurt the one who is passed into eternity. It's simply: Hebrews 9:27 (KJV) "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Period. Then it's eternity, either in the presence of Jesus or in the presence of Satan.
Revelation 16:17 KJV "And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done." NIV "The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, 'It is done!'" NIV leaves out "of heaven." Where is this temple and throne of which the verse speaks?
Revelation 20:12 KJV "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God. ..." NIV "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne,...." NIV changes "God" to "the throne." Whose throne is it?
Revelation 21:24 KJV "And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it:. ." NIV "The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it." NIV leaves out "of them which are saved." Everyone will not have entrance into heaven and the kingdom of God. Christians do not believe in the "Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man" as the Catholic Church teaches. That is a doctrine of devils. That is humanism and Ecumenicalism.

And from my book titled, "When is it time to change churches?" I have this chapter.

THE TEACHINGS…
OF ALEXANDRIA OR ANTIOCH
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
Or, another way of classifying this chapter would be to call it “The Teachings of the NIV (and other perverted versions) vs. KJV.  What’s the Difference?”

Take a look at Scripture for your answer.

And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.  Acts 13:49

Shortly after Jesus ascended up to heaven, while the apostles were out spreading the gospel message we come to this verse.
“…the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.”

What region is being spoken of here?  This is very important so please do not miss this point.  Let nothing distract you from reading God’s Word in context.  This will help to open your eyes, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to see the errors of following after Balaam, so to speak.

Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.  As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.  And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid [their] hands on them, they sent [them] away.  So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.  Acts 13:1-4

Start with Acts 13:1.  Now there were in the church that was at Antioch…
Take hold of this city.  Understand the city, the region and the home base attitude of the Apostles.  Antioch was located about 300 miles north of Jerusalem not too far from the Great Sea (The Mediterranean Sea).
And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid [their] hands on them, they sent [them] away.
As a home base for Christians, it was here that Barnabas and Saul (Paul) were sent out.  Now, look at where they went out to.

So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

The first place, Seleucia, was only a handful of miles southwest of Antioch, right on the edge of the Great Sea.  From there, they sailed to the Isle of Cyprus immediately west and a little south of Seleucia.  As they landed at Cyprus, they came upon Salamis and then Paphos.

And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to [their] minister.  And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name [was] Barjesus:  Acts 13:5-6

     Skip ahead a few verses…
Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem. But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. Acts 13:13-14

After leaving the Isle of Cyprus, they headed north up to Perga of Pamphylia, from there they went even further north and stopped at Antioch of Pisidian (this is not the same city as Antioch of Syria).

But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.  Acts 13:50-51

From Antioch of Pisidian, they then went into Iconium which is located a little bit south east of Antioch.  It was in this area that the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.  The word of God was spread throughout all the region.  The region being shown is the area east and north east of Antioch of Syria.

Now, the above map shows the Apostle Paul’s first missionary trip.  Look at the following map of his second missionary trip.

As you have viewed his first two missionary trips, can you see how there is something in common?  Antioch is found in both maps.  Right?  Now look at this next map of his third missionary trip.

Again, you can see that Antioch is an important part of his journeys.  This is the point of where the word of God was published throughout all the region.  This is the place where the KJV Bible gets its manuscripts from.  The other versions, the NIV, ESV, NKJV, NASB and all of the others do not come from this region.  Guess where they come from?  Alexandria.  Where is that and why is that significant?  Look at the map below.

Notice all of the areas that Paul and Barnabas preached at.  None of those places were near Alexandria.  Out of the manuscripts that have been found, there are only two locations that we receive the majority of our text from.   The Majority text originates from Antioch, Syria while the Minority text originates from Alexandria, Egypt.  The Majority text includes roughly 99% of the more than 5000+ manuscripts that are around today.  These are the ones used by the King James Bible and they have a high degree of agreement with each other.  The Minority text includes the remaining 1% of manuscripts that are available to us today. There is a very high level of disagreement between each of these manuscripts and it is no surprise that these are the manuscripts that Westcott and Hort decided to use when authoring the NIV Bible.  In fact, these manuscripts disagree with each other at such a high degree that there are over 3000 disagreements within the four gospels alone.  The two Alexandrian manuscripts that the NIV draws from are the Sinaiticus and the Vaticanus, which differ so much that it is hard to put the two together.  Look at how many differences there are between the two.
Matthew         656+
Mark               567+
Luke                791+
John              1022+
Total             3036  differences between Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.

 Not very reliable is it?

Modern translators have divided the Majority and Minority text into four groups.
Alexandrian
Western
Caesarean
Byzantine
The first three are from the Minority Text while the last one is from the Majority Text.  Even though, they have broken it all down into four categories, it doesn’t change the fact that there are still only two originals – the Majority and the Minority manuscripts.  The Byzantine is also known as the Textus Receptus (the “received text”, in Latin).
In the interpretation of scripture, there are four rules that must be used to properly divide the word of truth.
1.      Discover the author, the people addressed and the life and times of the people involved in a given case.
2.      Discover the facts and truths presented in a given passage and note the exact wording of the text.
3.      The golden rule of interpretation – when the plain sense of scripture makes common sense, seek no other sense.
4.      The law of first mention which states “The law of first mention may be said to be the principle that requires one to go to that portion of the Scriptures where a doctrine is mentioned for the first time and to study the first occurrence of the same in order to get the fundamental inherent meaning of that doctrine. When we thus see the first appearance, which is usually in the simplest form, we can then examine the doctrine in other portions of the Word that were given later. We shall see that the fundamental concept in the first occurrence remains dominant as a rule, and colors all later additions to that doctrine.”
With this being stated, take a look at what Scripture tells us about Antioch and Alexandria.  First, take a look at the land of Egypt.

Egypt

And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine [was] grievous in the land.  And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou [art] a fair woman to look upon:  Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This [is] his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.  Genesis 12:10-12 (first mention – negative)

This is the place where they will take the wife and then will kill the husband.

Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.  But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.  And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:  And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, [was] with rigour.  Exodus 1:11-14 (negative)

This is the place where they will make you into slaves.

I [am] the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  Exodus 20:2  (negative)

God Himself calls Egypt the “house of bondage.”

But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, [even] out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as [ye are] this day.  Deuteronomy 4:20  (negative)

This is the place that Moses called “the iron furnace.”

But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.  Deuteronomy 17:16  (negative)

God commands his people, that their king shall not buy horses from Egypt, in fact, they are not to return no more that way.

And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.  Revelation 11:8  (negative)

It is a place that God uses to denounce the city in which the two witnesses are murdered.

And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.  Matt 2:15  (negative)

God called his Son out of Egypt!

Not looking good for Egypt is it?  People will defend their rights to stay with the NIV Bible and the other perverse translations just because they feel it is easier to understand.  No discernment whatsoever.  Now, this is showing God’s view of Egypt.  Take a look at what God says about Alexandria.

Alexandria

Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called [the synagogue] of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.  Acts 6:9     (first mention – negative)

This is a place where they disputed with and killed the first Christian martyr, Stephen.

And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, [and] mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.  Acts 18:24  (negative)

At first sight, this might look like a positive.  It is important to remember the “first mention” rule.  Upon deeper study, it is seen that even though Apollos was an eloquent man and mighty in scriptures, it wasn’t until he met up with Aquila and Priscilla, that he was taught properly in the Lord.  This man was instructed in the way of the Lord but only knew the baptism of John.  Aquila and Priscilla expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.  This is a place of bad bible instruction.

And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.                Acts 27:6  (negative)

It was a ship from Alexandria that took the Apostle Paul to Rome to be executed.

And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.  Acts 28:11  (negative)

Again, it was a ship from Alexandria that took Paul.  He had survived a shipwreck and a snake bite only to be taken again by a ship from Alexandria.
God emphasizes that Alexandria is of death and bondage.
Alexandria was the second largest city of the Roman Empire, with Rome being first.  It was founded by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. which is a type of Antichrist found in Daniel 8.
Both Egypt and Alexandria are shown in a negative light in Scripture.  This is the area where the 1% of manuscripts had been found, the Minority Text, the manuscript that the NIV comes from.
Now, examine how God views Antioch.

Antioch

Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.  But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.  And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:    Acts 6:3-5  (first mention – positive)

Notice how only one hometown is mentioned in this verse.
This is a place where a man of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, was chosen.
Is it any coincidence that Acts 6 shows both Antioch (verse 5) and Alexandria (verse 9) as a contrast?  Not surprising in the least.

Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.  Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.  For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.  Acts 11:22-24 (positive)

The grace of God was seen here, as was gladness of heart to Barnabas, plus, he taught that the people would cleave unto the Lord.  And what happened?
Much people was added unto the Lord!

Notice what happens next in Acts 11.
Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:  And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.  Acts 11:25-26 (positive)

Barnabas sought out Saul and when he found him, where did he take him?  Did he take him to Jerusalem?  No.  Did he take him to Alexandria?  No.   There was absolutely no consideration whatsoever to taking him to Alexandria.  No. Look at what he did.  He took him to Antioch.  They assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people.  It was in Antioch that the name Christians was first used of followers of Christ.

Acts 13:1-3 (positive)

Antioch is a place where God sends out missionaries.
If this is where God sent out His missionaries, wouldn't it make sense that the manuscripts used would have been of God as well?  The place that God condemns has only 1% of the manuscripts and they do not even agree with each other and yet those are used by the NIV authors.  Have you begun to see the differences between the two cities yet?  Do you see how each city was used differently in the bible?  What will you do with this information?
 ****************************************************************************
The NIV was taken out of Alexandria.  Just because the manuscripts are older does not make them better.

Would you trust a Muslim to translate a new version for you?
Then why would you trust those who translated the bible into the NIV.  It's the same difference!
