A Minute To Find Your Purpose, A Lifetime To Live It!

I could make you wait 40 days to find out your purpose in life, but for some reason, that does not seem fair...



What if you die before you reach the 40th day?



Satan will not wait 40 days to start attacking you. He is ready right now to take aim at you. Are you ready for his attack?



What does an attack from Satan look like?




Is it possible that Satan has been attacking you and you don't even know it? Let's take a look at what Satan might do...



An attack from Satan can come in a very slight way that you might not even notice at first glance.



The difference was so slight, you didn't even notice I changed fonts on that last sentence. It looks very similar but is not the same. This is very true when it comes to an attack from Satan. He is the great deceiver and the father of lies! And he will do his best to present a gospel that "sounds" right but is lacking the full gospel message.


You see...


Satan will not send you to the junk yard of humanity. Oh no, what he will do is try to persuade you will promises (empty promises!). He will make you feel like a King or a Queen of your own palace. He will make you feel special and that there is no need for you to change. Just let him do the changing for you. You will hear it by pastors who preach the "love" gospel without preaching about sin and the need to repent of our sins. When only half of the gospel message is given, people feel good about themselves. But it does not truly bring about change in them. Why? Because there was no reason to repent of their sins.

Sure, Satan wants the "best" for you. At least on the surface that's what it looks like. But at what cost does what is best for you, hurt others? You will find that when we become "me" centered, it always has a cost associated with it. When we concentrate on the "me" in our life, we become self-centered and that is not the way Jesus wants us to live. In fact, we are to deny ourselves and take up our cross. We will realize that persecution will come when we decide to follow Christ. Peace, Happiness and Joy should never be used to "draw" people to Christ. No, let's give people the truth that they need to hear so that when their last day on earth comes, they will have full assurance of knowing God. How do we know God? When we keep His commandments we know Him! Read 1 John 2:3-6.




So, here we are...
The title said, A Minute To Find Your Purpose, A Lifetime To Live It!

Read Ephesians 1:9-10
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:



We were created for God's good pleasure and for His glory! The mystery of His will is known, that in the dispensation of the fulness of times, he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth, in him.

So, when Satan starts attacking you and trying to bring you down...
just remember...

We are called to fulfill the Great Commission...
Regardless of what is going on in our life, we are called and commissioned to...

Go, into all the world preaching the gospel to every creature! So that in that final day, God may bring together in one all things in Christ! What greater purpose can we have than to help bring lost sinners to Christ? Do you need 40 days to learn this? No, you just did in this past minute!

Now, go and live it for the rest of your life!
