The Love of God and the Wrath of God!

Are you ready for this? For a few years now I have been preaching the need to present the "whole" gospel message. Too many pastor's focus only on the grace of God and will tell people that God is love and that He loves everyone. No need to repent, or at least mention the word repentance. And definitely, no need to tell people that our God is a God of wrath. Pastor's you are deceiving your people when you do not tell them the whole gospel message. As a result of your inadequate preaching, people are running to all kinds of false teachings as if their heads were cut off. Running, running, running and never getting anywhere spiritually.

2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The Love of God

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Romans 15:30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in [your] prayers to God for me;

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

Deuteronomy 13:3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
(did our friend meg see this? I sure hope so)

Amos 5:15 Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

Ezr 10:14 Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.

Jesus spoke more about hell than he did about heaven. Do you realize that? If you are in a church that has a poor pastor who only speaks of grace, then you most likely did not know this. Are you seeking prophets to tell you about your life? (are you listening megan?) then you will have to ignore certain scriptures to please your self.

Do not get me wrong on this one. GOD IS LOVE. AMEN TO THAT ONE! HE IS MOST DEFINITELY LOVE. BUT DO NOT BE DECEIVED, GOD IS ALSO WRATH. AND HIS WRATH IS ABOUT TO BE POURED OUT ON ALL HUMANITY FOR THEIR DISOBEDIENCE.

The signs of the times are upon us. The rapture of the church can happen at any time now. But only the church will be raptured. Only those who are truly saved. Few there be that enter in the narrow gate. Will you be one of the few? If you continue to live your life as though God does not care what sins you are involved with then by all means enjoy your sins for a season. but beware ... God is not mocked! He demands obedience to His Word and if you are living in disobedience to His Word then you will not go to heaven. Examine yourself today. Are you living in sin? Do you make provisions to sin? In other words, do you set out to sin knowing full well it is against God's Holy Word? Do you make plans to sin? If you are part of a mega church (or even a small church for that matter) that only preaches grace with no mention of God's wrath, you can pretty much bet that the pastor of that church is not saved himself. To not mention the wrath of God is to HATE you so much that he does not care if you go to hell or not. Does the wrath of God scare you? GOOD!

Psalm 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Proverbs 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD [men] depart from evil.

Proverbs 23:17 Let not thine heart envy sinners: but [be thou] in the fear of the LORD all the day long.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Watch this video. There are true preachers of God's Word and there are false teachers. Do we as Christians know how to discern the truth any more than the world does?

May God forgive us for not having a Fear of Him. A healthy fear of God is necessary to becoming a true follower of Christ. Come to Him for the right reason. Don't fall into the lie that God is ONLY a God of love. He is a God of wrath as well and unless ye repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him ye shall likewise perish!
