The title of my blog is Time 2 Change Churches. It is about bringing our churches "back" to biblical preaching and teaching. It is about seeing our church from a biblical perspective. Is your church teaching obedience to God's Word? Holiness? Reverence? Righteousness? Are you taught that it is necessary to be born-again? Where does repentance fit in with your walk with Christ? Do you evangelize? Or is your church just teaching you a new joke or two each week? PLEASE PASS THIS BLOG ON!

praise God, we had another soul come into the kingdom tonight. i had the privilage to use the Law and this was a guy who just couldn't believe... (i put up the conversation on my blog...)
ReplyDeleteTo Bretcarroll, I got your message. Thanks for the info, I will be sure to see about contacting the schools. It sounds like a great idea for reaching out to the children!! thanks again!
ReplyDeleteGod bless
Brian
Nicole,
that is so awesome! I am so thankful when I hear of others who are faithful in reaching the lost the way Jesus did! Is that a guarantee the person won't backslide? No, but at least he has heard the Truth and it most likely will keep him from following after the Devil again!
great job!
God bless
Brian
it was just really encouraging. i almost always have to use a translator when i talk with people because my chinese is so bad!
ReplyDeletebut many taiwanese people (especially university age) read and understand english better as opposed to hearing it.
im even more encouraged because all the people that know him well said he'd never become a christian. they would say he's just too hard...and you're right in your comment...
but God... (Eph. 2:4)
and it really was a "but God..." moment. so i give Him so much praise for it.
you know what ive been doing, ive been practicing on my cats. i preach to them often. and when i ask levi if he has ever stole he meows (he steals judah's food all the time)!!
but then again, he meows all the time.
thought that would amuse you
you are going to have the most educated cats in the world!!
ReplyDeleteyup! if animals could get saved you know they would be! you know how it is at my house! :)
ReplyDeletewhen i lived in indiana i had a rabbit. i trained him to "praise the Lord." i taught him to jump up whenever i said "praise the Lord."
i used to let him out of the cage when i was home and he'd just hide. but when i played the piano and sang worship songs, he'd come out and lay out right next to the piano.
i dont read much into it, but it was really cute!
so Nicole, when we read in Scripture that:
ReplyDeleteMary took her hare and wiped his feet...
or
But the very hares of your head are all numbered.
I guess you are right in having only one hare! One hare is big enough to wipe someone's feet and I would think that only one hare would fit on anyone's head!
well, that's of course, only if we want to be relevant so that PETA people and those who think that animals go to heaven will accept Jesus.
ReplyDeletesometimes I think that PETA has more power than today's contemporary church!
ReplyDeleteyou know, if peta, olsteen and oprah got together, they could take over the world.
