- I am a born again Christian. I became a pastor back in 1996 and can honestly tell you that I was not truly saved while I was preaching. This blog will challenge you to examine yourself in light of Scripture to see if you are actually in the faith. It is my desire to help you grow as a Christian. To help you understand the need for obedience to God's Word, the need for repentance of your sins and the need to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone! Yes, a great video. I never get tired of it. Posted it twice on my blog. Maybe before long it'll be due for a repost there.
I suppose some people would consider those people preaching as being too argumentative and too pushy in proclaiming the gospel. The Truth hurts those who are lost. But the great thing is that the Word of God has power to open the eyes of the blind and that is why I post it here.
Thanks brother Culver - as it turns out, I have the same video on my blog - http://maxaira.blogspot.com/2007/12/revival-hymn.html - it is excellent and always enjoy watching it. You and I it would appear are about in the same "boat" as it were, with respect to the pastoral ministry. The church has changed so much over the past 20 years. Finding one that sincerely desires to hear the Word, and the Word alone preached is a rare find.

I agree, the churches have changed drastically, and it seems like it will take one person at a time to create the change. I am so glad that God is in charge and not me!!
I posted this video today Brian. Thanks for pointing me to it. If the eyes of your heart and even your head are dry after hearing the stuff of the gospel like this, you are lost.
